Harry Lime

Harry Lime is one half of Home Alone's Wet Bandits, the burglar duo whose confidence is systematically destroyed by Kevin McCallister's homemade defenses. In minifigure form, Harry turns slapstick villainy into something almost perfectly matched to LEGO play: a character meant to be dropped, launched, surprised, and sent through one trap after another. His inclusion in the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set reflects the program's attention to complete storytelling casts. A house full of clever mechanisms would be only architecture without the burglars who trigger them; Harry is the moving target that makes the model behave like the movie.
